Maud de Bretagne has always loved interior decoration; searching out old and new materials and textiles, creating new combinations, and matching the colour schemes of her different projects.

After obtaining a Masters in International (Private) Law, Maud decided to follow her heart and began a career with Nobilis, the famous Parisian textile showroom in Saint Germain des Pres. This initial formative experience was followed by a two-year period at the Nobilis showroom in New York, allowing her to frequent and to advise some of the city’s famous interior decorators. Maud was at the same time involved in the work of the antique dealer Paterae in Soho as well as training at the FIT, Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York.  This experience gives her work an international dimension together with excellent knowledge of the American market.

Returning to Paris in 2002, Maud was responsible for the opening of the architect and designer India Mahdavi’s Showroom at 3, rue Las Cases - which she managed for 5 years. Here she developed a thorough knowledge of the world of contemporary design, and was responsible for launching the first signed collection of India Mahdavi textiles.

In 2009 Maud launched her own company aimed at both individual and professional clients, proposing her considerable experience in what she considers to be the final important stage of all architectural projects, that of interior decoration and furnishing.
